Back Pain Treatment

Same-Day Back Pain Evaluation and Treatment

Back pain is one of the leading causes of missed work and limited activity. Whether your pain started after lifting something heavy, during exercise, or gradually over time, OS1 provides same-day orthopedic evaluation without a referral or appointment. Our on-site Open MRI and digital X-ray allow us to identify the cause of your pain during your visit, so you leave with a diagnosis and treatment plan – not just a prescription for painkillers.

Conditions We Evaluate and Treat

Muscle Strains and Sprains

The most common cause of acute back pain. We assess severity, provide pain management, and develop a recovery plan that may include bracing, medication, and physical therapy.

Herniated and Bulging Discs

Disc injuries can cause radiating pain, numbness, or weakness in the legs. Our MRI imaging identifies disc problems so we can recommend appropriate conservative treatment or specialist referral.

Sciatica

Pain that radiates from the lower back down through the buttock and leg often indicates sciatic nerve compression. We diagnose the underlying cause and offer injection therapy, physical therapy referrals, and activity modification guidance.

Compression Fractures

Vertebral compression fractures can occur from falls, sports injuries, or osteoporosis. We provide X-ray and MRI evaluation, pain management, and bracing.

Spine Degeneration and Arthritis

Wear and tear on the spine is common, but chronic back pain shouldn’t be your “new normal.” Using on-site X-rays, our team identifies the source of your discomfort to build a personalized roadmap for relief. We focus on diminishing pain and restoring mobility so you can get back to the activities you love.

Lumbar Stress Fractures & Spondylolysis

Repetitive twisting and arching can lead to “pars fractures,” a common cause of back pain in young athletes. Our specialists provide expert diagnostics using X-ray and MRI imaging to catch these early. We focus on a safe, phased return to sport through specialized core stabilization and load management, helping you get back on the field or in the gym stronger than before.

When to Seek Care for Back Pain

Seek same-day evaluation if your back pain followed a fall, collision, or lifting injury, pain radiates into your legs or causes numbness, you’re having difficulty standing or walking, pain has not improved after 48–72 hours, or you’re an athlete whose back pain is affecting performance. Walk into any OS1 location in HooverTrussvilleMadison, or Kennesaw for expert orthopedic back pain evaluation. No appointment needed.

Walk in today and feel better- sooner!

Back pain is one of the most common reasons for ER visits, and one of the worst places to get treated for it. OS1 evaluates herniated discs, sciatica, muscle strains, and degenerative pain on a walk-in basis with on-site imaging and immediate access to injection therapy when indicated. No referral required. Most patients walk out the same day with a clear diagnosis and a plan.
