Sports Medicine Fellowship Trained
Dr. Runyan, a Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine Specialist, earned his MD from the University of Toledo and trained in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan before completing a Sports Medicine fellowship at Marshall University. With 12+ years of experience in orthopedic and neurosurgery settings, he specializes in treating acute injuries, chronic conditions, and occupational injuries, helping patients return to activity safely and efficiently.
Sports Medicine Specialist
Dr. Blake Perry, a Sports Medicine Specialist, earned his Biochemistry degree from Samford University and his MD from UAB School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Wake Forest and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Alabama, serving as a team physician for multiple schools and the Birmingham Bulls.

Board-Certified Family & Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner with 6 years in Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Bryan earned his MSN from Emory University and BSN from Samford University, with prior experience in UAB & Birmingham VA ERs. His passion for orthopedics stems from personal injury, surgery, and rehabilitation experiences.

Eve Santiago, a board-certified Physician Assistant, earned her Biomedical Science degree from the University of Georgia and completed the surgical PA program at UAB in 2004. With 18+ years in orthopedics, she specializes in sports medicine, general, and surgical orthopedics, bringing extensive experience to patient care.
Emergency Medicine Fellowship Trained
Lee Lake, a Board-Certified Family and Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, earned his BSN and MSN from UAB. With 14+ years in emergency medicine, including an APP Emergency Medicine fellowship, he brings expertise in acute injury care and patient advocacy, with a strong focus on orthopedics.
Cardiovascular ICU and Pain Management
Parker, a board-certified Physician Assistant, holds a Master’s from Samford University and a Biomedical Science degree from Auburn. With experience in Cardiovascular ICU, Pain Management, and Sports Medicine, he brings expert, patient-focused orthopedic care to OS1.
