Services / Pediatric Orthopedic Care
OS1 treats patients ages 2 and up at our walk-in orthopedic clinics. Same sports-medicine fellowship-trained physicians who see adults, treating kids for sports physicals, fractures, sprains, growth-plate injuries, and return-to-play planning. Seven days a week. No referral required.
Parents bring their kids and young athletes to OS1 for the same reasons adults come: a faster path to a real diagnosis, X-ray and MRI on-site, and a treatment plan started today, not two weeks from now. We see ages 2 through adult. No appointment, no referral.
Our physicians are fellowship-trained in sports medicine, the field that specializes in musculoskeletal injuries from young athletes to grandparents. If a child needs a pediatric orthopedic subspecialist for something complex (such as scoliosis or congenital deformity), we coordinate that referral. For the day-to-day sports injuries, sprains, fractures, and physicals that fill a parent's calendar, OS1 handles it on the spot.
School, league, camp, and club physicals for kids and student athletes. Walk in, fill out the form, get cleared the same day.
Same-day fracture care with on-site X-ray, including growth-plate (Salter-Harris) injuries. We cast in-house and arrange follow-up.
Ankles, knees, wrists, elbows. Evaluation, bracing, and a recovery plan in one visit.
The injuries kids get that adults do not. We know how to read pediatric X-rays for the difference between a bone bruise, a hairline crack, and a true growth-plate fracture.
Little League elbow, Sever's heel pain, Osgood-Schlatter knee pain, jumper's knee, stress fractures. Common in growing athletes who train year-round.
Recovery guidance and clearance timelines from sports-medicine fellowship-trained physicians. Coaches and athletic trainers can call for direct provider follow-up.
No appointment needed. Hoover, Madison, Trussville, and Kennesaw all see walk-ins seven days a week.
Our physicians are sports-medicine fellowship-trained. You will not be triaged out to a different specialist.
If imaging is needed, we have digital X-ray at every clinic and open MRI scheduled same day.
Diagnosis, treatment, brace or cast if needed, and a return-to-play timeline. Done in one visit.
Two years old. We treat orthopedic injuries from age 2 through adult.
No. OS1 is a walk-in orthopedic clinic. Bring your child in any time during clinic hours.
Yes. Walk in with your school's physical form. Most physicals take about 20 to 30 minutes, including the form.
Not usually. Our scanners are open MRI, which is much less intimidating than a closed-bore tube. Most children can lie still for the scan without sedation. We will let you know if sedation may be needed before scheduling.
Yes. We can schedule follow-ups with the same doctor at the same clinic. We also coordinate referrals out if a pediatric orthopedic subspecialist is needed for complex cases.
