Expert Shoulder Injury Care – Walk In Same Day
Shoulder injuries can make everyday tasks – reaching overhead, lifting, even sleeping – painful and difficult. At OS1, our orthopedic specialists diagnose and treat shoulder injuries same day with on-site imaging and a personalized treatment plan. No referral or appointment required.
Common Shoulder Injuries We Treat
Rotator Cuff Injuries – Rotator cuff pathology such as strains and tears are common in athletes, manual laborers, and adults over 40. Symptoms include shoulder pain when lifting the arm, weakness, and difficulty sleeping on the affected side. We evaluate rotator cuff injuries with physical examination and MRI imaging, then recommend conservative treatment or surgical referral depending on severity.
Shoulder Dislocations – A dislocated shoulder requires prompt evaluation and stabilization. At OS1, we can evaluate the dislocation with X-ray, provide pain management, reduce the dislocation if appropriate, apply immobilization, and develop a follow-up plan to prevent recurrence and regain function.
Shoulder Impingement and Bursitis – Pain when reaching overhead or behind your back may indicate impingement syndrome or bursitis. These conditions often respond well to targeted
injections, physical therapy, and activity modification.
AC Joint Injuries – Common in contact sports and falls, AC joint separations cause pain at the top of the shoulder. We provide grading, bracing, and rehabilitation planning for all severity levels.
Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) – Gradual loss of shoulder range of motion may indicate frozen shoulder. Our team offers injection therapy and guided rehabilitation to restore mobility.
Shoulder Fracture – Fractures require swift, expert attention. We offer comprehensive care including immediate X-ray imaging, pain management, and immobilization. Our team coordinates your entire rehabilitation—from physical therapy to surgical consultations—to get you back to your daily life safely.
Diagnosis and Treatment at OS1
Your visit begins with a physical examination and range-of-motion assessment. We offer
digital X-ray and Open MRI on-site, so most imaging is completed during your visit or within 24 hours. Treatment options include corticosteroid and PRP therapy, bracing and sling immobilization, physical therapy coordination, and surgical referral when conservative treatment is not sufficient.
Don’t Wait on Shoulder Pain
Untreated shoulder injuries can worsen over time, leading to chronic pain, reduced range of motion, and longer recovery. If you’re experiencing shoulder pain after an injury, during sports, or without a clear cause, walk into any OS1 location in
Hoover, Trussville, Madison, or Kennesaw for same-day evaluation.
