When an injury happens in Madison, you should not have to choose between a long, expensive ER visit and waiting days for an orthopedic appointment. The OS1 Madison clinic is a walk-in orthopedic clinic, open seven days a week, with a sports medicine fellowship-trained physician on-site. Walk in, get evaluated, and get imaging and treatment in the same place. No appointment, and no referral needed to be seen. We treat patients of all ages, from kids to adults.
At OS1 Madison, Dr. Runyan and our care team treat fractures, sprains, and sports injuries the same day, with no referral and no appointment needed. If you are looking for an orthopedic doctor in Madison who can see you today, you can walk in any day we are open.
The Madison clinic handles the full range of non-surgical orthopedic and sports injuries: sprains and strains, fractures and dislocations, tendonitis, joint pain and swelling, sports injuries, and work injuries. If an injury turns out to need a surgeon, we evaluate it, stabilize it, and connect you with the right specialist.
Madison is a full-service location. What you need to diagnose and treat the injury is in the building: open MRI for a detailed look at soft-tissue injuries, digital X-ray, injections including cortisone and PRP, casting and splinting, and bracing and durable medical equipment. Most of it happens during your visit. If you need an MRI, your provider schedules it on-site, typically within 24 hours and never weeks out.
For most orthopedic injuries, a walk-in clinic is the better first stop than a hospital emergency room. You are seen by a provider who treats musculoskeletal injuries all day, the wait is shorter, and the cost is a fraction of an ER visit. OS1 has the imaging and treatment tools on-site to handle the injury start to finish. For a life-threatening emergency, an open fracture, heavy bleeding, or a head injury, go to the ER or call 911.
There is no appointment to book and no referral to track down. Walk into the Madison clinic, check in, and an OS1 provider will examine your injury, take an X-ray if it is needed, and explain what they find. If you need an MRI, an injection, a cast, or a brace, it is handled here. You leave with a diagnosis and a clear plan.
