Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)Â

Responsibilities:Â
Clinical:Â
- Direct Patient Flow Â
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.Â
- Explain treatment procedures to patients and prepare patients for exams.Â
- Assist the physician during exams and medical procedures.Â
- Teach patients about medications, special diets, exercise plans and other medical lifestyle changes as directed by the provider.Â
- Clean wounds and change bandages.Â
- Apply and remove casts, splints and braces.Â
- Occasionally perform other medical duties under the supervision of the doctor.Â
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and medical records are kept secure and confidential.Â
Administrative:Â
- Assist the Patient Care Representative in scheduling decisions.Â
- Answer patient questions via phone, email and at the time of visit in a compassionate, timely and professional mannerÂ
- Correspond with insurance to obtain the proper documentation/authorization for procedures and equipment.Â
- Gather and document clinical information from other current or historical records under the direction of the provider.Â
- Prepare electronic charts of upcoming new and established patients by entering all medical information relevant to the office visit, including patient history, symptoms and complaints.Â
- Maintain records using accurate spelling, correct grammar and completeness before the provider reviews and signs the note.Â
- Perform other duties that improve the efficiency of the provider such as assisting with medication reconciliation, documenting procedures, and providing communication assistance (message to other providers, scanning, printing or copying medical records).Â
- Managing exam room inventoryÂ
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.Â
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.Â

Registered Radiologic TechnologistÂ

The Radiologic Technologist’s primary responsibilities will involve to compassionately and accurately explain to the patient the imaging procedure, calibrate and maintain radiology equipment, follow instructions from Providers regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging, correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position, follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding, keep good patient records and appropriately document imaging procedures in EHR and PACS. Â

- Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazardsÂ
- Maintain imaging suppliesÂ
- Ability to take radiological images and examine the images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortionÂ
- Deliver to physician for reading/interpretation images by using the Picture Archive Communications System (PACS)Â
- Clean and make minor adjustments to radiology equipment and ensures equipment is in working order and report equipment malfunction to Radiology Manager or designeeÂ
- Prepare copies of X-ray CD’S for patients, tests, surgery, and physicians as requiredÂ
- Log radiological procedures completedÂ
- Process charges and related paperwork using computer as directedÂ
- Compliance with all policies and procedures
- Assist with the transportation of patients between the examination rooms and Radiology departmentÂ
- Assist with patient flow in the examination rooms as directed by a supervisorÂ
